Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) is the programme seeks to open new schools in those habitations which do not have schooling facilities and strengthen existing school infrastructure through provision of additional class rooms, toilets, drinking water, maintenance grant and school improvement grants.

Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) is a centrally sponsored scheme to achieve the universalization of Secondary Education. Its visions is to make Secondary Education of good quality accessible and affordable to all school age children in the age group of 14-18 years.
